Passing the DVSA theory and hazard perception test is a vital step for all learners. To pass, learners must be familiar with the Highway Code and demonstrate their ability to respond to developing hazards. It is only when they have passed that they can attempt to take the practical test.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is therefore surprising to find that, according to Driving Standards Agency statistics, a significant number of learner drivers are failing the theory test, 40% of all tests taken are failed. Young men aged between 18 and 19 fair particularly badly with nearly half (47%) failing to pass*.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
